Unreal remake progress until today



Just a quick update to not leave this page without updates for a long time.

I am still working on the game everyday, sometimes just a few minutes of my spare time but always everyday.

I want to say thanks to the people that are supporting the game here and on Patreon, since its in dollars, the small amount there converted to my local currency makes a huge difference!


The remake process of the game in Unreal had some good and bad things. The main good things is that Unreal helps A LOT MORE than Unity in core systems like movement, collision and camera. The bad thing is that animations retargeting in Unreal requires a bit of manual work sometimes and how the gameplay loop system works it is still not clear to me.

But the evolution is pretty good, even though the plan to publish a version with at least everything that the old Unity version had will still require a little more time, I am sure that everything will feel and look much better in Unreal.

The Hourglass with a simple shader that made the gold appearance look cool with minimum effort, plus some new monuments at the Bottle Desert.
